Christchurch and District Band

We need a full set of new music stands - Please donate and help us if you can.

The Christchurch and District Band is a community concert band based in Christchurch, Dorset.

We have a broad range in player abilities and all ages are welcome. Because we are a community band we don't charge subscriptions or membership fees plus all monies raised from paid engagements are put striaght back into the band for its growth and success. No wages or "cuts" are taken by its leaders. Operating a band like this needs money, we perform at paid engagements to raise funds but, should you feel you would like to help us with our costs, please consider becoming a Patron, using the "Be A Patron" Tab above, or use the "Donate" button at the top right hand side of this page. In particular we need more music, stands, instrumentation and stand banners.

If you already play, or have played and would like to perform with us, why not get in touch and come along for an evening to see if you enjoy it?

The band are a friendly group of musicians getting together to create music and perform entertaining concerts. Rehearsals are relaxed and fun.

An exciting time is ahead. If you want something different from your musical experiences, get in touch !

We are proud to support the Not Forgotten Association.
